Xavier Howard and Will Wright to Lead the Thirds in 2026

Aberfeldie Football Club is pleased to announce the reappointment of Xavier Howard and the addition of Will Wright as Co-Coaches of the Thirds for the 2026 season.

After guiding the team to the club’s inaugural Thirds Premiership in his first year as Senior Coach, Xavier now welcomes Will as a Co-Coach for the year ahead. Will will continue in a playing capacity while bringing valuable coaching experience, having served as a Premier Division line coach in 2025 and leading our U16 Division 1 team to a Grand Final. Xavier also supported Will in that program as a line coach, highlighting their strong and complementary coaching partnership.

Both Xavier and Will are highly regarded within the club, great mates off the field, and proudly the two youngest recipients of the Lynette Harrison Award for Best Club Person. Their energy, leadership, and connection to the wider senior program will provide outstanding support to the Thirds group.
