Leigh Tudor Appointed as Senior Coach for 2026

The Aberfeldie Sports Club is proud to announce Leigh Tudor as the new Senior Men’s Football Coach.

Following a thorough process, the ASC Board has endorsed the selection panel’s recommendation to appoint Leigh.
Having commenced his football journey in the EDFL at Doutta Stars, Leigh spent 8 years as an AFL player firstly at North Melbourne and then at Geelong featuring in 2 Grand Final teams for the Cats.
Post his playing career, Leigh spent the next 2 decades as a coach in the VFL / AFL system. In 2007 Leigh coached Geelong VFL to a Premiership. From 2008-2010 Leigh was at St Kilda as an assistant coach, where the Saints made back to back Grand Finals. The family spent the next 3 years in Sydney where he was midfield coach for the 2012 Premiership Team.
In late 2013 Leigh returned home to the club that drafted him, the Kangaroos spending the next 6 years in various roles. From 2020 to 2023 Leigh was at Essendon, with 2023 as the VFL coach. In 2024 he led Pascoe Vale to the EDFL Grand Final in a return to the EDFL.
Leigh (Lurka) has an incredible record of developing players and coaches. A great teacher of the game and respected throughout the industry, the Aberfeldie Sports Club is delighted to welcome Leigh, Suzie and family to the club.
