Over the moon to announce that Rohan Hawker and Ash Koenig will co-coach our under 18 girls ranks next year, and we’re sure neither need introductions to most Abers people.
Hawk, as Rohan is better known, has been involved as a coach or assistant coach for many years across senior women, under 18s all the way down to under 11 girls. He’s much loved by the Abers community and we can’t wait to again watch him work closely with the 18.5 group and alongside the senior teams as one squad.
Kones, like Rohan, has coached many Abers teams and is well loved by the group having previously coached the majority of this years group as under 16s two years ago. Both he and Rohan balance each other well and will work together to build a strong 18s squad that will be made up of two teams working with the senior groups.
We are excited to have Rowan and Ash leading the 18.5 team for the 2025 season, working closely alongside our other coaches to strengthen the Aberfeldie women’s program and build on our successful 2023 and 2024 seasons.
