Pink Stumps Day 2026: A Sea of Pink, Purpose and Community

Pink Stumps Day 2026 was a powerful reminder of what makes Aberfeldie Sports Club so special - community, connection and coming together for a cause that truly matters.

Across the day, our club was awash with pink, big smiles and an incredible sense of unity as players, supporters, sponsors and volunteers rallied in support of the McGrath Foundation. It was made even more meaningful to once again host this important event in our new clubrooms, creating a space where people could gather, reflect and support one another.

We are incredibly grateful to our major sponsors - McDonald Upton, McHugh Eastwood, Atlas Counsel and Wilcon Projects - whose generous support helped bring Pink Stumps Day to life. Their commitment to the club and to this cause played a huge role in the success of the day.

A massive thank you also goes to the 30+ businesses who donated prizes and contributed so generously. Your support helped drive fundraising efforts and added to the excitement throughout the day. Special mentions to Escagrill, Inspiration Paints, Kieser, MNG Lawyers and Rosehill Plumbing, along with Good Vibes Nutrition, who kept our players hydrated and supported on the field.

Behind the scenes, an incredible group of organisers and volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure the day ran smoothly. From planning and setup to coordination on the day, their dedication is what made Pink Stumps Day such a success. We are also deeply thankful to everyone who attended, donated, bid in the auction and showed their support - every contribution made a difference.

A special thank you to Sam Vivian, who shared a powerful and moving message as our guest speaker, reminding us all why days like this are so important. We also extend our appreciation to Andrew Butler from McDonald Upton for expertly conducting the auction and Kelly Pound for keeping the day flowing as MC.

Pink Stumps Day is about more than cricket. It’s about awareness, early detection and looking after one another. The conversations had, the funds raised and the support shown all contribute to the vital work of the McGrath Foundation - and serve as an important reminder to get checked and prioritise your health.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Pink Stumps Day 2026 such a meaningful and memorable day. Together, we showed the true strength of the Aberfeldie community 💗✨
